North Como Preschool is a mission of North Como Presbyterian Church.The preschool was established in 1970, and is licensed by the MN Department of Human Services to provide preschool to
children ages 3 to 5 years of age. Children must be potty-trained and
their birthday must be on or before September 1st.
North Como Preschool is in session from September through May, with morning classes and "Lunch Bunch." The morning classes run from 9:00-11:30 AM. Lunch Bunch is an optional program
and runs from 11:30 AM -12:30 PM.
The purpose of North Como Preschool is to supplement early home experiences in an environment planned
to further each child’s social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development as well as to
develop a strong, positive self-concept through interaction with peers and supportive adults.
The preschool does not teach Christian theology as such, but it does encompass many Christian values
such as loving one another and respect for all God’s creatures and creation. North Como Preschool
is open to any child regardless of race, religion, sex, or creed.
